One night, someone even attempted to enter the room after hours, which added to the unease.

The Staunton Arms was a fantastic stay! My room was newly refurbished with a cozy vibe, featuring a comfortable bed and a modern en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was a real treat, with fresh ingredients cooked to perfection, especially the fried bread, which is hard to find these days.

We had a chill night here. The room was super comfy and clean, and we didn't hear a peep from the kitchen, which was a nice surprise. Dinner was unreal – the pie was hands down one of the best I've had. Just wish the entrance area was more welcoming. the greasy mat isn’t a good look.

A great spot for a short break with a beautifully secluded location. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the food was outstanding, especially the homemade beef and ale pie. Breakfast offered a hearty full English, ensuring a good start to the day. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making the stay enjoyable. While the room had a pleasant view, it could benefit from a more modern touch.

We had an amazing group getaway! Visited the local attractions and enjoyed some great hikes. The cozy room was perfect for us with its comfortable beds. The food was fantastic. breakfast and dinner were highlights. The staff made us feel super welcome and went out of their way to help us settle in.
